Economics from Florida State University in 1977. He is the President of Kamran Afshar Associates, Inc. and the Chief Economist for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. Kamran is the Director of the Lehigh Valley Consumer Research Center, the Managing Editor of The Lehigh Valley Economic Review as well as the host of Eco- nomic Pulse and the Lehigh Valley Discourse on WDIY. Dr. Afshar is a member of the American Economic Association, Southern Economic Association and the National Association for Business Economics.
